Kairos Torch

KairosTorch Torch is an introductory two-day program for youth ages 24 and under who live in juvenile detention or correctional facilities.

The weekend is a combined effort of an ecumenical, Torch Team to introduce young men and women to Christian concepts as a means of making better choices for their lives.

The initial weekend is followed with an established mentoring program that involves one on one mentoring sessions.

5/8/2009 Update - Kairos Torch

Torch #2 went really well and we started mentoring a GREAT group of 21 boys last evening!! We will return every two weeks for 6 months and then start on the next group.

Torch #3 will take place the 1st or 2nd week in Nov. there will be another opportunity for new volunteers.
